Social Services Therapist Job in Springfield, OH

Responsibilities

• Oversee social work programming and quality on the Acute Care Unit
• Work closely with the Director of Nursing to provide therapeutic programming for Acute Care clients
• Provide and oversee diagnostic assessments, making treatment recommendations based on screening and evaluation findings
• Ensure the most productive treatment modalities are offered across social work programming
• Employ a variety of treatment modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy, matching psychotherapeutic techniques to clinical needs

Qualifications‍

• Master's Degree in social services, social work, or counseling
• 3-5 years of experience in mental or behavioral health, preferably inpatient/acute care
• Licensed as a Social Worker, Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist (LSW/LPC/IMFT) in the State of Ohio; SW Trainees may be accepted
• LISW/LPCC/IMFT with supervision designation preferred
• NVCI (CPI Blue) certification
• CPR (BLS)/First Aid certification
• Ohio BCI check required (FBI check required for candidates who have lived in Ohio less than 5 years, or for roles working with children); 5-panel drug screen upon conditional offer; residential candidates require a 2-step TB test
