Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Ohio

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose conditions and manage medication treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare and facility staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Respond to mental health crises and provide interventions

Qualifications‍

• Active Ohio APRN license with PMHNP designation
• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (ANCC)
• Current DEA certification
• Valid BLS/CPR certification (Healthcare Provider level)
• Previous experience in psychiatric or correctional healthcare settings preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
