About the Role

New Heritage Recruiters is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join a collaborative therapy team committed to empowering children and supporting families through individualized, play-based, and family-centered care in Lauderhill, Hollywood, or Wesley Chapel, FL. New graduates and candidates awaiting Florida PT licensure are encouraged to apply, clinical pediatric rotations accepted.

Location: Lauderhill, Hollywood, or Wesley Chapel, FL
Position: Pediatric Physical Therapist
Pay: $70,000 – $80,000/year
Type: Full-time or part-time available
Schedule: Flexible — choose your schedule!

Responsibilities

Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of pediatric patients ages birth–5
Develop and implement individualized, play-based treatment plans tailored to each child's needs
Deliver therapy sessions in preschools, early learning centers, and/or in-home settings
Educate and coach caregivers on home exercise programs and developmental strategies
Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team including OTs, SLPs, and special instructors
Document session notes and track patient progress using the clinic's software system
Maintain compliance with Florida PT licensure requirements and continuing education

Qualifications‍

Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
Licensed Physical Therapist in Florida OR eligible/in process of obtaining Florida PT licensure (new grads welcome)
Experience evaluating and treating pediatric patients
Pediatric experience required (clinical rotations or professional experience accepted)
Strong communication skills with children and families
Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and provide caregiver education
Bilingual English–Spanish a plus, not required

What We Offer

$150/month stipend toward health insurance
PTO: generally start out with 80 hours plus holidays
$400 CEU reimbursement for CEU per licensure period
