Occupational Therapist Jobs in Lauderhill, FL

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients from birth to 21 years old
• Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Manage a growing caseload — expect a heavier mix of evaluations early on while the clinic builds up, transitioning to a faster pace with mostly 30-minute sessions
• Provide feeding therapy where applicable
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluation write-ups
• Collaborate with clinic staff to support patient care and scheduling

Qualifications‍

• Degree from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Completion of standard supervised fieldwork through your program
• Eligible for or in process of obtaining Florida OT licensure (new grads encouraged to apply)
• Able to evaluate and treat pediatric patients
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• Bilingual English–Spanish a plus
• Feeding experience a plus
