About the Role

New Heritage Recruiters is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join a mission-driven, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to serving individuals with developmental disabilities in Salinas, California. In this role you will ensure behavioral and psychological information is meaningfully incorporated into comprehensive evaluations and prescriptive plans, directly supporting individuals in achieving greater self-sufficiency and maintaining their fullest potential.

Job Type: Full-Time (Part-time compensation prorated to hourly equivalent based on days worked)
Pay rate: $11,268 - $14,774 per month
Schedule: Day shift or Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

Evaluate and provide behavioral and psychological information for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families for purposes of diagnosis, program planning, consultation, and evaluation
Participate as a member of the Agency's multi-disciplinary diagnostic and consultation team
Provide consultation and guidance to Agency personnel involved in developing and delivering services
Serve as a teacher and consultant to staff supporting individuals served by San Andreas Regional Center
Assist in the development of new programs and support ongoing evaluation of programs operated by the Agency and community partners
Perform related duties as assigned, including conservatorship petitions, competency to stand trial evaluations, and diversion plans

Qualifications‍

Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology from an accredited institution
Active license to practice by the State of California Board of Psychology
Minimum of 2 years of experience, with a significant portion of time in programs or services supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Strong ability to collaborate constructively with clients, families, Agency professionals, and community partners
Knowledge of psychological principles, methods, techniques, and materials relevant to serving individuals with developmental disabilities
Expertise in administering and interpreting psychological and behavioral assessments
Ability to prepare clear, concise, and professional written and verbal reports
Valid California driver's license and automobile liability insurance, or ability to provide independent transportation
