About the Role

New Heritage Recruiters is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join a mission-driven, multidisciplinary team dedicated to serving a diverse adult and pediatric patient population in Dayton, OH. In this role, you'll provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental care under the supervision of a Dentist, directly supporting patients in achieving better oral health outcomes and maintaining their overall well-being.

Location: Dayton, Ohio
Position: Dental Hygienist
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay rate: $33.85 – $43.31/hr
Schedule: Tuesday through Thursday and every other Friday

Responsibilities

Improve patients' oral health through periodontal therapies and dental hygiene services
Assess dental conditions using approved screening procedures (medical history, dental and periodontal charting)
Evaluate overall oral health for signs of disease or possible cancers
Take digital radiographs as prescribed by the dentist
Perform prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planing, debridement, fluoride treatments, and protective sealants
Assist with or initiate emergency measures during treatment
Assist other staff with patient care, office, and lab duties
Document dental history, lab procedures, and patient reactions
Ensure all tasks comply with regulatory, accreditation, and clinic policies

Qualifications‍

CPR Certification (training available upon hire)
High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of an accredited dental hygienist program
Current Registered Dental Hygienist with State of Ohio licensure
CPR Certification (training available upon hire
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and problem-solve
Computer proficiency — scheduling, dental records, digital x-rays
Experience or interest in caring for diverse patient populations
Written and oral bilingual fluency strongly preferred (e.g., English/Spanish or English/Polish)

What We Offer

Sign-On Bonus: $2,500
NHR Sign-On Bonus: Additional $1,000 sign-on bonus from New Heritage Recruiters upon completing 90 days of employment.
Referral Bonus: $1,000 for referring a candidate who is hired and successfully completes 90 days of employment.
