About the Role

New Heritage Recruiters is seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Therapist to join a nonprofit behavioral health organization in Parkersburg, WV. In this outpatient role, you'll provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and adolescents ages 3–18 — delivering evidence-based, age-appropriate care through assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and supportive counseling that meets each client's unique needs.

Location: Parkersburg, West Virginia (remote options available for independent licensees)
Position: ABA Program Director
Pay: $60,000 – $90,000/year
Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Remote Options
Schedule: Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, flexible start time

Responsibilities

Conduct individual, group, and family psychotherapy consistent with ethical practices and within the practitioner's skill level
Deliver treatment using the most appropriate, evidence-based therapy modality for each client's age and needs
Perform standard intake evaluations and recommend appropriate therapeutic treatment
Develop and maintain treatment plans in line with client goals and program standards
Provide crisis intervention, assess client needs, and make appropriate referrals for services
Provide case management activities consistent with the role of primary therapist
Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state, local, and agency requirements
Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of all client information
Meet productivity standards as set by the program and agency
Attend all center meetings and trainings as assigned

Qualifications‍

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related Behavioral Health Discipline from an accredited program
License eligible in Social Work or Counseling required; one year post-graduate experience preferred
Practicum or internship experience in the role of primary therapist preferred; behavioral health and/or substance abuse experience a plus
Prior experience using computerized electronic medical records
Must pass Criminal Investigation and DHHR background checks and post-offer drug screen
