Child & Adolescent Therapist Jobs in Parkersburg, WV

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy consistent with ethical practices and practitioner skill level
• Deliver treatment using the most appropriate, evidence-based therapy modalities tailored to age and client needs
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state, local, and HIPAA regulations
• Conduct standard intake evaluations and recommend appropriate therapeutic treatment plans
• Provide case management, crisis intervention, and therapeutic referrals as needed
• Meet productivity standards and attend required center meetings and trainings

Qualifications‍

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related Behavioral Health discipline from an accredited program
• License eligible in Social Work or Counseling required; one year post-graduate experience preferred
• Practicum or internship experience as a primary therapist; behavioral health and/or substance abuse background preferred
• Prior experience with computerized Medical Electronic Records (PC-based)
• Must pass criminal background, DHHR background checks, and post-offer drug screen
• Remote options available for independently licensed candidates
